Try uninstalling ntop then recursively deleting /var/lib/ntop/rrd. Install ntop
and then run it again.
Also, let me know what version of rrdtool you have.
I looked through the rrdtool source and it seems to think that it's getting 2
for alpha channel when it should be 0 or 1 when opening the file. Since I
switched from ntop 3.2 with included rrdtool to 3.3 that uses the system
rrdtool, it might be possible that the rrd databases are not compatible.
