This is my first package request, and I will be needing a sponsor.

I've been building RPMs for redhat and Fedora (and other RPM-based
distributions) for some time; I have read the Fedora packaging guidelines and
tested the source and binary RPMs files with rpmlint (there are still a few
warnings; I hope nothing serious), so I hope that the qore packages will be
accepted into Fedora.

There are some warnings in the libqore5 package regarding Provides: lines, but
these are needed due to the way that the qore library works with binary modules
loaded at runtime; basically there is are internal API versions that are
matched between the library and the module, and the Provides: lines (along with
Requires: lines the the module spec files) allow the rpm system to correctly
determine if dependencies are matched between the qore library's internal API
code and the one that the module requires. Basically the qore library supports
many internal API versions allowing it to load modules linked with older
versions of the library.

Also please note that I am also the upstream developer of the package and the
spec file is part of the distribution.

I use Fedora on all my Linux machines (work & home) and would be happy to
become the maintainer of this package, if that would be possible.

I will try to resolve any issues found in the package review ASAP.

Thanks a lot for your patience with my first package request to Fedora.

thanks,
David
