<div dir="ltr">One other quick question.. What happens when the LCD display is turned off.. I've come across one more thing that I need to work around.. Everything works well,except when the display is turned off, but the laptop is not suspended.. In this case when the display comes back on the LCD brightness is pretty much max and the brightness applet does not work..<div>

Feel free to share. Also don't forget to attend Fedora 19<br>

It seems we do not have optimal defaults in Fedora and the test<br>
day may also help to improve this. There are many aggressive<br>
(generally unsafe) tunings that may lower the power consumption<br>
(sometimes significantly). Feel free to send me output of<br>
# dmesg<br>
and html from<br>
# powertop --html<br>
for detailed analysis. I can propose some more aggressive tunings<br>
for you<br>
