Well, there's a side-effect here that I'm working on, which is 
stopping the fedora-release-$PRODUCT packages from *conflicting* and 
instead being able to rely on "whichever one gets installed by 
Anaconda gets to pick the system's VARIANT".

This would solve a LOT of problems that these release packages have 
introduced (due to complications with dependency solving and 
differences between yum and dnf).
