The F-12 Beta images don't need any of those things. The only caveat
with those ISOs is that on some systems with older partitioning tables
(specifically, from Aurora or older Linux distros), you may have to
explicitly blank the partition table on the disk before the installer
will work properly. This is due to quirks in the F-12 anaconda
storage/parted code, and we think it will be gone in F-13.

To blank the partition table, run:

 dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=512 count=1

You can either do this from rescue mode, or by switching to the shell
tty (alt-f3, iirc) once Anaconda is at stage 2 (when X is started).
