If you think some installed packages might be corrupted, you can run rpm -Va
to get a report on what might be corrupted. Note that it is normal for
there to be differences in config files and some nonconfig files, so you'll
need to carefully review the list before jumping to conclusions.

You can use the reinstall yum command to reinstall packages you think might
be corrupted.

rpm -q --whatprovides can be used to determined which package owns a file.
