RC3 still NO GO with ATI

  With the default driver of the basic video driver,
RC3 still goes to a blank screen using Core Duo
and ATU 5670 display card.  The keyboard still
seems to work but without a working graphics
it's  hosed.

As before, no text mode option is displayed.
