RC3 still NO GO with ATI

That's not 'confirmed', you're seeing different bugs. Chuck says "With
the default driver of the basic video driver, RC3 still goes to a blank
screen..." The word 'of' is a pretty obvious typo for 'or', so for
Chuck, it doesn't work with radeon or vesa. For Hurry, it doesn't work
with radeon but does work with vesa. That's not the same bug.

Hurry's case sounds possibly like John Reiser's:

(note that in contrast to the initial report, later on John makes it
clear that with basic video driver, install *does* work, unless he hits
some other unrelated bug).

Chuck's would seem to be something different.
