Feb 23 .iso troubles

Downloaded the Feb 23 64 - dvd iso, checked the image
with sha256sum before burning.

On an AMD 6000 system with GEForce 6600, the X server
failed to start, forcing a bare bones text mode install.

Replacing the Nvidia card with an ATI 2600xt, the X
server started up but neither the PS2 keyboard nor the
PS2 laser mouse worked.
