gconf-editor knows "apps", but no "gnome-packagekit" in there.
$ gconftool-2 --get /apps/gnome-packagekit/update-icon/frequency_get_updates
No value set for `/apps/gnome-packagekit/update-icon/frequency_get_updates'
/usr/bin/gpk-prefs displays "Hourly".
