/usr/bin/sync hangs up if called in

More than 1 min.

Trying it in F16 returns immediately.

Installed:

coreutils-8.15-6.fc17.x86_64
glibc-2.15-32.fc17.x86_64
glibc-2.15-32.fc17.i686
