F18: Why does "modprobe ipv6" not load the module "ipv6"?

Hi Dan,

but why then the find command locates the module ipv6 in /lib/modules?

find /lib/modules/3.6.10-4.fc18.x86_64 -name ipv6

/lib/modules/3.6.10-4.fc18.x86_64/kernel/net/ipv6
