chronyd can't be disabled in F17 to use ntpd instead

If I understand what is going on here, then it is not that chronyd.service 
can not be disabled, but it is started by systemd-timedated-ntp.target 
that wants chronyd. If you mask it, the Gnome setup will not work again.

Then it looks to me like the solution for Gnome Network time
setup was not the good one. I am however not sure what this checkbox in
Gnome really does. It probaly emits something thru dbus saying "enable 
systemd-timedated-ntp". I have to say, I spend now an hour thinking of a 
solution, but I am lost in the jungle of symlinks, services and targets. 
In the time of init scripts I would say - make and 
/etc/sysconfig/ntp with "ENABLED=yes|no" changed by a Gnome network 
time and add a check for this into both init scripts for chrony and ntd.
But for the systemd I do not know.
