The 3770 is an Intel chip with 4 hyperthreading cores
for a total of 8 threads. The system in question has
32 gigabytes RAM and about 5 terabytes of disk (currently).

The memory message occurs during the boot process
before X is started.

The attempted NFS mount fails with "mount.nfs: No such device".
A ping to the server address works normally.
