Bug 1257131 (also proposed as blocker) needs testing

Hi folks.

Sorry if I write this mail, but there is a bug which might potentially
be serious enough to be a nasty blocker - at least in my opinion -.

As I wrote with my comment, I don't hit the issue inside a vm.
Unfortunately I haven't got available hardware to test this on bare
metal, so I'm asking if anyone encounters this bug. We need to be sure
that this doesn't affect a large class of laptops.

Again... Please excuse me if I ping the ML, but I think that it's
better to collect more data before the next blocker review in order to
ease the decision regarding this bug.
