It was a fresh install on my HP XT1000 notebook, and it worked without any problem. The only thing i can tell, i had to install linux in text mode, video card has been recognized, but not the monitor. So i had to install via textmode and in firstboot setting a standard-lcd-display with 1024x768 resolution. Afterwards, it was working to my satisfaction. Was it what you expected? Roger ]
