reboot in rescue mode, chroot:<br><br># rpm -ivh *rpm<br>rpmdb: program version 4.3 doesn't match environment.<br>etc<br><br>where: *rpm is the newer kernel.<br><br>btw, at grub (from f8t1-dvd), choosing to boot from local drive actually waits a key to reboot.

i've tried f8t1-kde-live-i686. it booted ok. then i've noticed i have no network. service-network-restart fixed the issue. (probably NetworkManager confused by two nic's.)<br>then i've installed to hard drive. install was clear and quick. the "unable to inform kernel about modifications to sda5" error still showed-up. and after 'ignore' something strange happened: the monitor complained it has no signal and off it goes :) i thought the computer halted, but playing with ctrl-alt-f* i've found out the system was still alive and installing.
