<font size="+1">I am not sure if anyone has commented on the <br>
Add/Remove Software function but I find it<br>
almost impossible to use. Following are a couple<br>
of comments:<br>
<br>
1) It appears that you can only Add or Remove<br>
one package at a time.<br>
<br>
2) The Filter function is almost useless<br>
<br>
3) After every Install | Remove the entire list<br>
must be refreshed<br>
<br>
4) Depending on 'whatever' it often displays<br>
Packages multiple times<br>
<br>
5) I calculate that if I spent several days<br>
working steadily with this function I still<br>
would not come close to finishing.<br>
<br>
Maybe I am missing something that makes<br>
this function usable; anyone have any ideas?<br>

Fedora, and for that matter RHEL, always used to be gnome oriented. It is
simply no longer good enough to make such an assumption. As for "ask any new
user which desktop will choose when installation is done" I'm not certain
what you mean by that. I have certainly always installed KDE at install
time, and sometimes only KDE.
The fact remains, that if you want help you should cooperate, and you, after
all, were only asked to state more detail in your request.
