</div></div>How are you getting to root? I find the /bin/su is very broken on<br>
today's rawhide, and most of the su based tools are broken.<br>

</font></blockquote></div><br>after opening a terminal window I digit yumex, then I get the password request window where I enter the root password...and then I get all the warnings....and nothing else.<br>I suppose that it is connected to what you have found.<br>
