I agree completely. I find the applications on this spin to be a bit of a letdown (they're all quite<br>

So just for fun I tried out the F10 XFCE spin. It runs quite nicely, from a performance perspective, it's acceptable with no changes.<br>

So here are my thoughts and fears.<br>

If we go with the F10 GNOME spin, there will be two likely reactions from users:<br>
<br>
If the user knows Fedora, they'll probably get annoyed they paid extra for their SD<br>
card because it's so slow.<br>
<br>
If they don't know Fedora, they're going to assume Fedora is a fat slow pig and<br>
sucks.<br>
<br>
The more I try to slim this down, the more frustrated I'm getting, and I like to<br>
think I'm a bit smarter than the average bear here. Is there a reason we HAVE to<br>
use the GNOME spin for this, or can other options be considered?<br>
