A personal email to give you the opportunity to realize you were
wrong and change course while saving face. An opportunity on which,
alas, you failed to capitalize.
No one trying to be helpful deserves the kind of reply you
made to me. Even people who do nothing but point out problems are
helpful. The people who work on Fedora, or any other software
product, need to hear negative as well as positive feedback from
users.

Furthermore, to suggest that I was "whining" when I politely
expressed concerns about the quality of an upcoming release, went to
the trouble of checking bugzilla for these issues, and created
tickets for the ones that weren't already there, is patently absurd.

Having said that, even if I were a total newbie who had been doing
nothing but whining, that's still useful feedback for the
developers. In that case, making polite suggestions for how to give
better feedback in the future is a great way to help improve the
community and improve Fedora. Sarcastically dismissing someone who
is trying to help is not.
Actually, half of the bugs in the list I posted last night were
first posted to bugzilla by other people. Which you would have
known, if you had taken a minute or two to think about what I posted
rather than shooting from the hip. But apparently you didn't do that
because you "don't really care." You apparently think it's more
helpful to the community for you to attack other people who are
trying to help than to actually put some effort into participating
intelligently in the discussion.

Having said that, are you saying that it is only useful for testers
to report bugs that other people have already posted? That doesn't
seem to make a lot of sense.
