<div style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: 12pt; color:
#000000">Nouveau problem. Multi-booting F-15 and F-16. Nouveau
works perfectly in in F15, but it does not wok in F-16. I have
filed a bug against it
(<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=755336" target="_blank">https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=755336</a>). <br>
<br>
Excerpts from bug report:<br>
-Four clean install attempts<br>
-The first boot crashes the system after the request to send
hardware<br>
information. A hardware reset is needed to recover. Restarts in
VESA mode only.<br>
-Installing nVidia proprietary drivers in F-16 allows Gnome3
operation.<br>
<br>
Have anyone had a similar experience? Any suggestions?<br>

Thanks.<br>

Did you try setting nouveau.noaccel=1 on the kernel line? I had
problems with the nouveau drivers, posted repeatedly to bugzilla,
but no luck. Only turning off acceleration for nouveau seemed to
let me run at all, but even then I would experience the occasional
crash.<br>
