@Robyn<br>Your idea looks interesting to me. I have been a fedora user from the past 5 years and i have not done anything to help fedora. Even now my understanding of linux is similar to that of a newbie. I think that your suggestions will help promote qa testing.<br>

While I am not a Bugzapper, it would seem to me that QA runs on strict cycles. A new build comes out, and everyone is asked to test it in a timely manner. A test day for X is held on day Y and if you are not available on Y (give or take a day) you may feel that no one will look at your results.<br>

We have several ideas in place ( Atleast me and James did and I do ) on how to extend test days when we implemented it we just wanted to see how things would turnout first.<br>

The reason why they are bound to specific day has nothing to do with the reporter/tester but are because of maintainers availability during that time ( always better to have maintainer/upstream available) however the future envisions required little or no involvement from maintainers other than working on the result.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
