Would you not be able to make a boot floppy and boot from there?

Subject: booting from DVD

I got the last version of Fedora from the RedHat magazine
distributed in Italy, it is a DVD.

No luck in trying to boot from the DVD, the same DVD reader
boots nicely with the N.1 CDROM of Fedora Core 1B, but
no way to make it boot with the Fedora DVD.

The reader is a Samsung and if I mount the DVD on it
I can read it without problems.

Any suggestion from some competent Fedora guru out
there?

Thanks in advance

Daniel Liscia
