LibESMTP 는 Exim 등 이미 설정이 되어 있는 메일 전송 에이전트 (Mail
Transport Agent, MTA) 로 SMTP 를 이용, 이메일을 전송하는데 쓰이는 라이브
러리 입니다. 이 라이브러리는 메일 유저 에이전트 (MUA) 나 이메일 전송이
주된 목적은 아니지만 이메일 기능이 필요한 프로그램등에 사용할 수 있습니다.

LibESMTP 는 Exim 등 이미 설정이 되어 있는 메일 전송 에이전트 (Mail
Transport Agent, MTA) 로 SMTP 를 이용, 이메일을 전송하는데 쓰이는 라이브
러리 입니다.
libesmtp-devel 은 libesmtp 를 이용하는 프로그램을 작성하는데 필요한 헤더
파일들과 개발용 라이브러리들이 들어있는 패키지입니다.

 Libglade 는 응용프로그램이 미리 정의해둔 XML 파일을 이용, 런타임때 유저
인터페이스를 로딩할 수 있도록 해주는 작은 라이브러리 입니다. Libglade 는
GLADE 유저 인터페이스 빌더와 같은 XML 파일 형식을 사용하므로 GLADE 로 코
드를 생성하는 방법 대용으로 쓸 수 있습니다. Libglade 는 또한 여러가지 시
그널에 접속할 수 있는 핸들러들의 인터페이스를 제공합니다. (gmodule 라이
브러리를 쓸 수 있는 플랫폼에서는 단 하나의 함수만으로도 모든 핸들러에 접
속 할 수 있습니다.) 일단 인터페이스가 인스턴스화되면 libglade 에서 생기
는 오버헤드가 없기 때문에 인터페이스가 로드되는데 걸리는 시간 외에는 성
능저하를 가져오지 않습니다.

libjpeg 패키지에는 JPEG 이미지 파일을 다루는 함수가 정의된 라이브러리와
libjpeg 함수를 쓸 수 있게 해주는 간단한 클라이언트 프로그램들이 들어 있
습니다. 클라이언트 프로그램들은 cjpeg, djpeg, jpegtran, rdjpgcom,
wrjpgcom 로, cjpeg 은 이미지 파일을 JPEG 포맷으로 압축해 주고 djpeg 은
JPEG 파일을 보통의 이미지 파일로 압축을 풀어 줍니다. jpegtran 은 여러가
지 JPEG 파일의 변환기능을 가지고 있으며 rdjpgcom 은 JPEG 파일에 포함되어
있는 주석문을 보여주며, wrjpgcom 으로는 반대로 주석문을 삽입할 수 있습니다.

PNG 이미지 파일을 편집하는 프로그램을 개발하시려면 libpng-devel 패키지를
설치 하십시요. 또한 libpng 패키지도 같이 설치 하셔야 합니다.

libpng10 패키지에는 이전 버전의 libpng 가 들어 있습니다. libpng 는 PNG
(Portable Network Graphics) 포맷의 이미지 파일을 생성하고 편집하는데 쓰
이는 라이브러리 입니다.
libpng 1.0.x 에 동적으로 링크된 프로그램을 실행 하시려면 이 패키지를 설
치 하셔야 합니다.
