Dear valuable fellow Fedora contributors,

How's it going? Do you enjoy your summer holiday (if you are a student),
your work (if you are working), or your life (if none of the above)? :)

Please allow me to introduce myself. Chester is my name. After Ben and
Sarah's hard work for such a long time, I had become the administrator
(or the servant, exactly speaking) of the Fedora-trans-zh_tw mailing
list. My duties on the list are to keep people informed with the latest
news of Fedora, and to answer questions as to Fedora translations. You
are more than welcome to keep in touch with me and spare not your
suggestions.

The freezing date of Fedora 3 release is September 22nd, 2004. Thank
everybody's effort on Fedora that everything's done (with the exception
of specs.po) in time. Really appreciate about it. Viva Open Source and
the Spirit!!

Now we are all invited into the last phase of Fedora, which divided into
two categories:

1. Specs.po translation: Those who had translated the specs.po would
know that it's a little bit boring to translate all packages in Fedora
one by one. Sometimes I feel the same thing. However, it's also
something amazing to have a close look over the packages from which I
learnt a lot. I suggest people who are interested in this category to
translate 10 to 50 a day. You can start from the first untranslated,
from the bottom of the file, or any place you like. Now the specs.po has
less than 900 entries to translate, which would be a quick job for us,
the Fedora-tran-zh_tw community, to achieve.

2. Proof-reading: This is an even easier job to do. Please take any file
you would like to proof-read. Change any inappropriate typos, grammer
errors, and so on. We are on the right track and will make it better.

Last but not least, please don't forget to use the URL below to check
our progress regularly, to claim any file you want to take, and to
release after your cvs commitment. You are always welcome to this Fedora
site, and so does your treasurable feedback.

Best Regards,
Chester
