Propoused paragraph:
To access this support launch Fedora's default instant messaging client,
Empathy, and choose Accounts from the Edit menu. Click the "Add..." button, and
choose IRC as the type of the account. Select the "FreeNode" network, choose a
nickname, and click "Connect."
Next, you must register your nickname. To do this, press ctrl-n and enter
NickServ under Contact ID in the window that appears. This will open a new
window with a chat box at the bottom. Type "register [password] [email
address]" into this window. Once you have done this, follow the directions in
the email sent to your address to confirm your account.
Once you have registered your nickname, you can join the #fedora channel.
Click "Join" under the Room menu, and enter #fedora in the field marked "Room."
This should open a window where you can ask questions to the channel.

See http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-announce-list/2008-August/msg00012.html for information on why this key is obsolete.
