how to share /dev/dsp with several programs

Hi,

Yes, jack may be a good solution, but I use KDE, and I know that KDE 
have a program named artsd, it seem that artsd have the some function as
Jack, so I want to know how to config my artsd to let more than one 
program  to play audio at the same time.
