I had no problem with the first couple steps:
Changed hda1 to type 8e, Linux LVM.
Used pvcreate to initialize it.
vgextend reported that it worked, but if I do df, it still shows the
same amount of free space as before.
Should df reflect the full amount of free space in the LVM?
