To install *all* of the codecs associated with Movie Player, open up a
terminal and enter the following two lines;

su -c 'rpm -ivh
http://download1.rpmfusion.org/free/fedora/rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm'

su -c 'yum install gstreamer-plugins-ugly gstreamer-plugins-bad
gstreamer-ffmpeg gstreamer-java gstreamer-plugins-bad-extras
gstreamer-plugins-bad-free gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras
gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree'

entering your Root password when prompted.
