KDE fedora 12 - how to switch to gnome.

Hallo Group Members

just after putting user/password and pressing enter, in /var/log/messages, I get following error:

Screen gets frozen. To get back to login screen I need to press
ctrl-alt-delete.

Have YOu got idea what might be the reason?
