yum 'shortcomings'?

I have never used yum history before.
The man page is not completely clear on how it should be used
so I will have to try it out (and hope I make no mistakes, it seems
to be pretty exacting).

It does look like it might be more precise than 'yum-plugin-remove-with-leaves'
