Regarding F14: In addition to the picasa problem, I'm also having trouble
with MySQL. This evening I regressed to F13 and everything works just fine.
I'm not a production shop, so I'll hang out with F13 for a few months and
try again.  No harm done. Thanks to everyone to responded.
