kglobalaccel memory usage

I really like all the gestures and am not going to give that up.
this is (for me) the greatest advantage of KDE over others.

What I do want is to know if the mount of memory being used in my installation 
is normal or not.
since you are not using KDE I would like someone else to answer that.
