Not that I am trying to preach or anything, but Sun/Oracle no longer
supports 1.5 for consumers.. if your software is bound to that
specifically, you should change it as the 1.5 JDK security issues will
no longer be addressed.

You can try installing the sun compat rpm from JPackage
(www.jpackage.org).
