Removing NetworkManager results in very slow boot

    I think I did those things earlier:

    And now I've removed NetworkManager too but the same symptoms remain.

    The boot process stops at:

        "Start Terminate Plymouth Boot Screen"


    That process takes more than a minute and I still have to connect
    manually and mount the NFS separately before I am back in operation.

    I messed with this before and always seem to run into difficulty. It
    is simpler to restore NetworkManager than fight it. I don't have any
    portable equipment and it just seems I should be able to control the
    connection without it.

    I saw your message and thought I would give it another try.
