qemu-kvm -cdrom /dev/sr0
                 -soundhw sb16

tap,vlan=1,ifname=tap1500
                  -m 16
                  -name freedos-vm
                  -drive file=/usr/drives/kvm/fdos/fdos.img,cache=none
                  -smp 1
                  -usb -usbdevice tablet
                  -vga cirrus
                  -vnc :20
                  -boot c					
I've yet to test it fully, but network is working well enough to pass
files using freedos' FTP server.
