Building new kvm/qemu guest from command-line?

Hi,

I have an fc18 server and I'm looking for the steps involved in
creating a new virtual guest similar to what virt-manager would do,
except from the command-line. Does anyone know how to do this?

I've tried searching online, and really haven't found anything
current. Is there a more specific mailing list for support questions
such as these?
