And, as well as Ed's suggestion about configuring your mailserver to
listen to more than just localhost, have you opened the firewall?

Not sure if SELinux has options for sendmail, though I wouldn't be
surprised if it does.

All mail to my mailbox is automatically deleted, there is no point trying
to privately email me, I will only read messages posted to the public lists.
