First, NEVER respond to a digest. Write a new message with an
appropriate subject line and submit that to
users at lists.fedoraproject.org.

Second, check your /etc/resolv.conf file and make sure it has DNS
servers listed in it.

Third, if there are nameservers, ensure you can ping them.

Fourth, try something such as:

	host google.com ip-address-of-nameserver

to see if it resolves:

	[root at prophead Network]# host google.com 8.8.8.8
	Using domain server:
	Name: 8.8.8.8
	Address: 8.8.8.8#53
	Aliases:

	google.com has address 216.58.219.46
	google.com has IPv6 address 2607:f8b0:4007:80a::200e
	google.com mail is handled by 30 alt2.aspmx.l.google.com.
	google.com mail is handled by 50 alt4.aspmx.l.google.com.
	google.com mail is handled by 40 alt3.aspmx.l.google.com.
	google.com mail is handled by 20 alt1.aspmx.l.google.com.
	google.com mail is handled by 10 aspmx.l.google.com.
