However, I was hesitant to use the program because it dud not show the current
settings. Any comment on why it would not see the current

OK, I found the client. Many versions and sources not really sure
which one to use. The problem now is how to get the fedora firewall
to allow port 5900 through. During the install there was an
opportunity to
add ports. Does anyone know how to bring this GUI back up or is there

Unfortunately, IIRC, The Stock FC GUI does not really allow you to put
in
the ports # you want. I think I couldn't even put in SMB ports there.
I can't remember, I've removed the RPM.
I'm now using Shorewall. (<A class=moz-txt-link-abbreviated href="http://www.shorewall.net">www.shorewall.net</A>)
I've heard of Guarddog and a few others which is GUI based.
I'm comfy with SHorewall. So..
