there is a utility in system
settings which is called soundcard detection…that should work. I had
the

I am new to Linux and just installed Fedora Core 2.<br>
<br>
Every thing went fine except the sound... I do not hear any
sounds...Even my
sound card is detected...(I have maintained a resonable volume and
nothing is
muted.).<br>
<br>
I am using an intel 845 board and the sound card detected is an AC97.<br>
<br>
In windows I use SoundMAX drivers. But they do not distribute drivers.<br>
Nether Intel nor HP(my pc is a HP d220MT) support Linux drivers.<br>
<br>
Please help !!!<br>
