This is MATLAB 7.0.0.19901 (R14), the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL trick does not work at all but <br>interestingly enough under an older FC5 kernel-2.6.15-1.2054_FC5smp without the trick<br>matlab is able to run! With the trick it segfaults.

<br><br>You neglected to specify the version of Matlab you are trying to run.<br><br>I'm successfully running Matlab 2006a on fully updated FC5 machines.<br>Older versions had problems due to the LD_ASSUME_KERNEL trick required
