Install apcupsd via yum - it supports USB. Set the following values <br>
in /etc/apcupsd/apcupsd.conf:<br>
<br>
UPSCABLE usb<br>
UPSTYPE usb<br>
DEVICE<br>
<br>
<br>
The DEVICE setting has to be blank - the comments in the conf file <br>
mention this. I have several of these UPSes that are monitored this way.<br>
