Hi,<br><br>The PATH variable seems to already have a value in it:<br><br>PATH=$PATH:$HOME/bin<br><br>As for the locate command I got this error:<br><br>locate: can not open '/var/lib/mlocate/mlocate.db' : No such file or directory<br>

Take the path that you're presented, and add it to the PATH variable in<br>
the root user's .bash_profile.<br>
