AFAIK the install process is not supposed to behave like this, i.e. you<br>
should be able to proceed directly to installation after checking the<br>
media, without rebooting. If that isn't working it may be a bug in the<br>
DVD driver.<br>

</div></div></blockquote></div>I never do a media check, takes time and is...ummm...kinda useless!! If the media works, then there is no need to check it, if it doesn't work, then you don't have to check it either, because you'll know it when the installation fails!<br>
