<p>1. Currently, I'm using F11 and X11 forwarding is not operating.<br>2. Previously, I used F10 and X11 forwarding was working on the same machine<br> thru:<br> a) ssh -X <a href="mailto:local@somedomain">local@somedomain</a> -p xxx<br>
b) export <a href="mailto:DISPLAY=remote@somedomain:0.0">DISPLAY=remote@somedomain:0.0</a><br> c) xhost + (on remote)<br>3. I tried disabling/stopping the firewall but this did not permit<br>X11 forwarding.<br>4. sshd_config has X11Forwarding yes<br>
5. I read on the web the use of xauth isn't necessary if ssh -X is used.</p>
