</div>Have you tried running the application under "padsp"? This sounds like<br>
an old-style application that is trying to access /dev/dsp directly, but<br>
that is no longer supported. "padsp" is a way to run old OSS<br>
applications under PulseAudio. It has worked for me for some old Loki<br>
games that I still like to play now and then.<br>
