folder then they were accessible in Tbird under both environments, but
if the folders were created in Tbird under windows in the shared mail
folder, Tbird under linux listed the folders in its folder list, but
when you clicked on them to display the contents Tbird complained it
couldn't find them

Exactly, and this was why I was providing my original warning that
simply copying Tbird profiles form Windows to Linux was not
necessarily going to work asis.<br>
