Can't say when this started, but printing is now broken, with "/usr/lib/cups/filter/pdftops failed" errors on all print jobs, to both my printers. (HP LJ 1300 and HP Officejet-pro-8600).<br>

I just upgraded yesterday, hpijs and hplip was upgraded and<br>
it broke my HP LaserJet 1020 as well as I noticed today.<br>

The solution in my case was to re-download/reinstall the<br>
proprietary plugin for this hplip version by running "hp-plugin -i"<br>
as root. The error I saw in the logs was:<br>
